This time, I came to Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot in Zhangjiajie to participate in the industry cultural and tourism exchange conference. I stayed in Qinghe Jinjiang International Hotel for four days. As a person who travels around with business conferences all the year round, I have stayed in countless business hotels. This old five-star garden hotel hidden beside the scenic spot completely broke my stereotype of "hotel facilities around the scenic spot are perfunctory", and all the just needed details of business travel are covered strictly.
A 40 minute drive from Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport, the hotel provides a free airport pick-up service that directly connects us from the airport entrance to the lobby, without having to drag our luggage along the winding mountain roads around the scenic area. The hotel is only 300 meters away from the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park ticket station, so even if you want to take a one or two hour walk around during meetings, you can leave at any time without wasting time on commuting. The self driving team is more worry free, and the hotel comes with a free parking lot with ample parking spaces, so there is no need to wander around to find a spot.

The gigabit network is stable and smooth throughout the entire process. After staying for three days, I found that this old garden style five-star hotel completely mixed the mountain scenery quality of Zhangjiajie with the relaxation of holiday, which was the most surprising surprise of my trip.

The traditional five-star design that had been accumulated for thirty years gave me a sense of comfort, which immediately eased the fatigue of the journey.
The luxurious landscape king size bed room I stayed in had a spacious and transparent 42 square meter area. Pushing the window, I could see the distant mountain scenery. In the morning, when the clouds and mist drifted on the mountaintop, I sat at the tea table by the window and brewed a cup of local Zhangjiajie Maojian tea. The wind wrapped in the clear and mellow atmosphere of the mountains, and I fell silent. The bedding was just right in terms of softness and hardness. The day before, I had been climbing in the mountains all day and my legs were sore and heavy. As soon as I lay down on the bed, the tightness in my whole body quickly dissipated. The facilities in the room are well maintained, and the central air conditioning and smart bathroom are easy and comfortable to use, without many common aging problems of old five-star facilities.
The hotel itself is a large garden hidden by the mountain, with a courtyard of over 20000 square meters filled with green plants. When taking a walk along the small path, the view is full of lush greenery. Just a few steps away, you can come across a small water feature hidden in the shadows of trees. The water quality of the indoor constant temperature swimming pool is maintained very clean. During the day, walking in the mountains makes you sweat all over, and when you come back to swim twice at night, most of the soreness and swelling in your body instantly subsides. The equipment in the gym is well maintained. When I don't want to go out, I stay in the mountains for a long time, take a few steps to stretch my body, and I feel refreshed.
The dining experience also exceeded expectations. The local Zhangjiajie Tujia cuisine served at Jinlong Yufeng Chinese Restaurant is particularly authentic, with three pot of fresh and spicy flavors that perfectly match the taste. You don't have to queue up at popular restaurants around the scenic area, and you can enjoy authentic local flavors in the hotel. The western restaurant has a wide range of buffet breakfast, including Rice noodles, hot Congee and local special Dim sum. After eating, you can go straight to the scenic spot without having to get up early and look for breakfast shops everywhere.
After playing in Zhangjiajie so many times, this is the first time I feel that there is no need to rush to the scenic area every morning and night. The place where I live is already a part of my vacation.
